The profile systems which have become known in the prior art are substantially rigid in their construction and can hardly, if at all, be adapted to local conditions.
It is therefore an object of the invention to eliminate the disadvantages of the prior art and to provide a profile system that is easy and flexible to assemble while ensuring an aesthetic appearance.
This object is achieved in that the base profile has slots for height adjustment and screws for tilt adjustment. The height adjustment of the base profile has the advantage that after mounting the profile system according to the invention even at a later date, the basic profile can be adjusted in height, for example, to allow adaptation of the profile system to a laid at a later date floor. Likewise, the screws in the base profile are suitable, if necessary, to change the inclination of the profile system to the ground to which it is attached.
